On the 21th of April, at the European Parliament in Brussels, the European Nurserystock Association (ENA) has officially launched its new policy manifesto: “More plants more life”. In the presence of MEPs and EU policymakers, we delivered a clear message: our sector is the backbone of the European Green Deal, and we require the recognition and support necessary to fulfill our vital role.
With an annual output of €10.6 billion and nearly 250,000 employees, our nurseries provide the living green infrastructure that Europe needs for climate adaptation, urban cooling, and biodiversity restoration.
