The Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) is the leading trade association for the UK environmental horticulture sector, representing garden centres, nurseries, growers, landscapers, manufacturers and horticultural suppliers across the United Kingdom. Founded in 1899, the organisation supports the industry through advocacy, business development, research, training, certification schemes and major trade events such as the National Plant Show. The HTA plays a major role in shaping UK policy around plant health, sustainability, biosecurity, peat reduction and international plant trade, while promoting the economic and environmental value of gardens and green infrastructure. The association also collaborates closely with organisations such as ENA and AIPH to support sustainable ornamental horticulture and international nursery trade.

Through its professional member organisations, ENA represents the shared interests of growers and traders of hardy nursery stock products, including perennials, at international level.
ENA also serves as a platform for knowledge exchange between members.
