BAOPN (Bulgarian Association of Ornamental Plant Nurseries) is the main trade organisation representing Bulgaria’s ornamental plant nursery sector. Founded in 2011 by the country’s leading nursery producers, the association works to protect industry interests, improve quality standards and align Bulgarian nursery production with European standards through ENA membership. BAOPN collaborates with universities, landscape architects, government institutions and plant agencies to promote professionalisation, sustainable production and sector growth. The organisation also supports industry visibility through initiatives such as Green Fest Bulgaria, Green Cities Europe and national networking within the ornamental horticulture market.
